Faster, simpler and more digital - that's what VP Bank wants to become. To make these ambitions emotionally tangible, a self-confident sound identity was developed together with TONIQ. It can now be heard in both the digital and physical world.

A clear positioning and a strong, self-confident appearance are important success factors in the banking world. With this in mind, the VP Bank Group, an internationally active private bank with headquarters in Lichtenstein, has revised its brand strategy and appearance. The further developed brand is intended to signal to clients and to employees that the bank is looking ahead and seeing change as an opportunity. To position the company within a globally networked, digital world in a modern way, a sound identity was developed together with TONIQ

By combining various electronic sound generators as well as sample instruments developed in-house, a sound world has been created that conveys the desired emotionality and energy. One of the challenges was to sound “modern”, but not “trendy”. During development, the sound DNA was repeatedly challenged and tested in a wide variety of contexts until a harmonious overall perception was achieved in conjunction with the other design levels. Great attention was also paid to flexible applicability.
